DataPulse was born out of necessity and inspired by a hackathon in Jordan, organized by the IMF and funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. During this event, we developed an app for data transfer using SMS technology. This idea resonated deeply with us, and we knew it had the potential to make a significant impact in our home country, Malawi, and beyond.
